SINUSPINDE ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang trabaho sa mga government offices sa Metro Manila, Martes ng umaga, kasunod ng 6.1 magnitude earthquake nitong Lunes.

“Per Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea as recommended by the NDRRMC  and in order to ease up the load of the public transport system, work in government in the National Capital Region is suspended on 23 April 2019,” ayon kay Presidential Spokesperson Salvador Panelo.

Inatasan din ng Pangulo ang mga gobernador ng mga apektadong lalawigan na suriin ang pinsala sa kani-kanilang lokalidad at tiyaking ligtas ang kanilang nasasakupan.
